Growth Hacking: 60% of startups of Barcelona are interested in working with Growth Hackers

Growth Hacking is a recent term, coined in 2010 by Sean Ellis, which refers to the set of techniques used by companies (especially technology-based) to rapidly increase its sales, customers or users, without excessive costs by taking advantage of SEO, social media, analytics, creativity, A/B tests and online advertising.

Gipande SEO & Social made a survey to 338 new companies established in the city of Barcelona, the universe of this survey between Catalan startups could be extrapolated to any business incubator in Spain.

194 of the 338 companies (57%) have expressed interest in the Growth Hacking, 7% (about 25) expressed interest in starting to apply Growth Hacking right now in their company and 6 companies are involved in Growth Hacking thechniques.

The term Growth Hacking and the job description for Growth Hacker are growing among spanish entrepreneurs.
